A film by Thomas Wick for New Hope Celebrates History Artists and Authors Series

A documentary short on the life of artist Jennifer Miller and the superpower of bringing people together in common purpose to create.   In 2001, Jennifer founded Earth Center Pottery, which evolved through the years into The Tyler Park Center for the Arts located just outside of Richboro, Pa., in Bucks County. The film not only reveals her life story and art, but behind the scenes footage of her students and fellow artists creating pottery.  It also celebrates the art of creating community and purpose.  Jennifer says when making pottery, the clay, the firing and the moment suggest the piece.  The film, beautifully written, directed and edited by Thomas Wick, shows that her success in creating community derives from the same ethos.  She allows the people around her and the moment to provide her choices and embraces them in centering her life and community.
