Alexis and Donna had the privilege to attend the screening of the film at the United Nations in December. They are honored, albeit saddened, to share their experience.
The Voice of Hind Rajab won the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival, where it received the longest standing ovation in film festival history. The film is Tunisia’s official submission for the 98th Academy Awards. It has received 2 Golden Globe nominations and is shortlisted for Best International Feature at the Academy Awards.
January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 6-year old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.
