The Midnight Society

The Midnight Society is a upcoming regular late night horror event at the ACME. Hosted by local horror creators for local horror creators, the Midnight Society will screen both cult classic films on long defunct media and experimental films by local genre directors.

Screening of:

Video Violence (1987)

We will be presenting Gary P. Cohen’s Video Violence the way it was meant to be played — on grimy VHS. Gary Cohen is hanging out to answer your questions after the screening.

Lilith (2019)

Midnight Society presents the first ever screening of the director approved 4:3 demaster of the 2019 award winning horror comedy on VHS. Director, Lee Esposito, and cast members will join for a Q&A after the screening. Plus themed snacks, free coffee and spooky vibes…

“After catching her long-term boyfriend cheating, Jenna turns toward elements she doesn't fully understand to get revenge. Said vengeance comes in the form of a succubus named Lillith, who embarks on a bloodthirsty rampage.”

As for the “society” aspect of the Midnight Society, we will be holding pre-show VHS swap meets, inviting local businesses we want to spotlight, and having member suggested screenings.
