Foreign Fridays monthly series will be hosted by Board Member, filmmaker, and travel lover, Jason Caridi. In addition to foreign films, the theme of this series will include those in which characters are in foreign places. The ways people interact with their novel surroundings is poetically tied in with how they interact with one another.

Our next film will be Mike Leigh's Naked. A drifter, sleazy yet charming, returns to his hometown of London to seek shelter and his intellectual match, all while fantasizing about the end of the world. Even Mike Leigh's bleakest film is still a working-class humanist marvel, equally difficult. Come for the film, stay for the discussion afterwards.
